Mendocino
College opened its new state-of-the-art performing arts facility
in 1994. Numerous plays, concerts and musicals are held in its 400 seat
theater. The facility also has a fully loaded recording studio,
workshops and classrooms for the performing and visual arts and a lobby

Sundays In The Park. A free
summer concert series sponsored by the City of Ukiah, features a variety

Ukiah Community Concert Association. A
series of high quality concerts covering a variety of musical genres.
This series is part of a network of concert associations throughout the
U.S. 1-707-463-2738. Ukiah Players Theatre is a professionally managed non profit community organization in residence at the Ukiah Playhouse. We provide local artists and rural audiences with a wide range of theatre experiences including the classics and contemporary plays, as well as original theatre and multimedia pieces created for, by and about our community. Ukiah Symphony.
A full sized semi professional orchestra of 60 musicians. The orchestra performs its eight concert season at the Center Theatre and Mendocino College. Guest performers are often featured. Ukiah Symphony Association also presents an annual musical reading at Fetzer Valley Oaks in Hopland. In August of 2002 , Ukiah Symphony will present the Broadway blockbuster Gypsy.
