Foster Parent Support Group -
Tapestry Family Services will host a support group meeting for foster parents, from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. The support group meets once a month to offer foster parents a night out with the free childcare, a free meal, and a supportive, safe environment. Foster parents can opt to attend the dinner and the training and receive two hours worth of on-going training hours. They can also attend just the training and receive on hour of training credit. Ukiah High School presents Yoshaany Rahm Harvest Run at the UHS athletic fields: registration begins at 8:30am; Kids' Mile at 9:30am; 54k Run/Walk at 10am; High School XC Invitational Races start at 11:30am. Awards presented after the race to the top 3 overall males and females and the 1st place in each age group: 13 and under, 14-19, 20's, 30's, 40's, 50's, 60 and up. This day of running is dedicated to Yoshaany Rahm, who was a Ukiah High School runner who passed away in 2008 and exemplified the spirit of the long distance runner. He will always be remembered for his courage and dedication to the sport. We hope that you can compete and celebrate as Yoshaany once did. $7 adults; $5 Students; $2 kids' mile.
