Business Cards and Brochures: This is a FREE opportunity for all Chamber members. Place your business cards and brochures in the racks at the Chamber office for the availability to visitors and residents alike.
Calendar of Events: Included each month in the "Chamber Network" this calendar is designed for Chamber members to post on bulletin boards or anywhere employees and patrons will see it. Advertising space is available at single month and multiple month rates.
Chamber Website: Make the most of your FREE listing in our Business Directory with current information, links to your email and website as well as the free 25 word description about your business. Take advantage of the special marketing packages designed to drive even more business your way - Sign up to offer a discount to website visitors; include a map and directions to your business on your listing, add your logo or even take advantage of sharing even more information about your business through our Business Spotlight page. Dining, Lodging, Visitor, Special Event and Real Estate Guides: Only Chamber members are included in these guides that are provided to thousands of visitors each year. Your membership ensures that these visitors are referred to your business!
Direct Mail Advertisements through Hot Sheets: Each month members only may promote their business, reaching hundreds of potential customers through the "Chamber Network" direct mail newsletter insert program. For $95, members may bring in 650 copies of their 8 1/2 x 11" flyer and the Chamber will do the rest of the work - the stuffing, labeling, sorting, and pay the postage - a savings of almost $200 in postage alone! Grand Openings/Ribbon Cuttings: These ceremonies, which increase the visibility of new or expanding businesses, are provided to Chamber members with free advertising exposure. Commemorative photos are highlighted in an issue of the "Chamber Network".
Member to Member Discount Program: Participation in the Discount Card Program enables Chamber members the opportunity to offer their goods or services to other Chamber members and their employees at a savings, opening the door to thousands of potential clients - all for free! Participants' names are printed on the 12,000 discount cards distributed, as well as being publicized in the Chamber website and the Chamber newsletter throughout the program year. A great way to support the "Shop Local" program while increasing your exposure to 12,000 and receiving free advertising! See the current list of Member to Member discounts offered.
Member Sponsorships: High visibility and advertising
value is offered to members who sponsor a Chamber event,
such as a Business After Hours Mixer, an Annual Membership
Meeting, Seminars/Workshops, Small Town Christmas and
Truckers Light Parade or the Holiday Trolley. As event
sponsors, their name is prominently displayed and promoted.
Event publicity and mailings afford them broad advertising
exposure at no additional cost above their sponsorship
fee.
Newsletter: Each month the Chamber four-page newsletter
"Chamber Network" is mailed to over 600 leading
businesses, prospects, elected officials, individuals
and is handed out to newcomers. All members can submit
stories about themselves, submit a 60 word Business Brief
or submit articles on their area of expertise that may
be useful or beneficial to fellow Chamber members, providing
much free advertising. A variety display advertising opportunities
are also available for $66 per issue.
Special Radio Spot Ads: Five radio stations run the "Ukiah Chamber Today" radio spots to promote Chamber events, programs and services daily. Sponsorship and promotional opportunities are available.
Ukiah Map: Every 2-3 years, the Chamber publishes a city map with distribution of over 7,500 and offers a perfect way to reach thousands of visitors, new residents, and local citizens. Members only may take advantage of display advertising opportunities. Advertisers receive maps to distribute to their customers or to use in their business.
Welcome to Ukiah Program: Introduce yourself to new businesses in town by supplying introductory information, gift certificates or promotional items to be presented in Chamber tote bags to new businesses opening in the Ukiah area. There is no cost for the Chamber to include your promotional items in the tote bags.
The Greater Ukiah Chamber of Commerce is always working to give our members more ways to get exposure, check with the Chamber Office or check back to this site periodically to learn of new Advertising and Exposure Opportunities.
Business After Hours Mixers: Generally held the third Friday of each month from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. at various businesses. These networking events bring together an average of 100+ people.
Monthly Seminars & Workshops: Recent trainings and seminars include the Customer Service Series; Human Resources seminars, Performance based seminars; marketing; technology seminars and a Workers' Compensation Workshop.
Annual Luncheons & Forums: Held over the course of the year the Chamber hosts Local Community Issues Forums, the Annual Business and Legislative Updates Breakfast; and Installation of Officers and Directors Dinner.
Committees: Members may participate in any of our active, dynamic committees, covering a wide range of interests such as Membership, Marketing, Education, Events, Ambassadors and Business Advocacy.
