Attraction Development Grant

Greater Ukiah Chamber of Commerce has released the Attraction Development Grant Guidelines and Application for 2009. The purpose of the Attraction Development Grant is to provide strategic economic assistance to public and private entities and not-for-profit groups that are developing tourism attractions.
Applications will be accepted through July 1, 2009. Grants will be awarded on or before July 15, 2009. Pick up the Attraction Development Grant Guidelines and Application for 2009 at the Greater Ukiah Chamber of Commerce, 200 S. School Street, Ukiah, or call 462-4705.

$4,000 - Riverbend Adventures to develop whitewater and eco-tourism.

$4,000 - Cancer Resource Center for their Pure Mendocino organic foods event.

$2,000 - Friends Of Observatory Park for repair and restoration and beautification of Observatory Park.

$3,500 - Hopland's Solar Living Institute for a series of Professional Solar Trainings to appear in Ukiah's downtown district.

$2,500 - Grapevine Quilt Guild for a quilt show program to coincide with the Fabulous Flashback Car Show.
